DEAR COCO
× THE DRAPER
Make a new neighbourhood
feel like home.
Dear Coco came to us with a challenge: launching their fifth location into Colindale — a community with different demographics and lower existing brand awareness than their core London audience. The brief wasn't just to announce. It was to belong. We needed to make Dear Coco feel like it had always been part of Colindale life, not like a brand dropping in.
Four films. One story.
You'll be known here.
We built a four-act social-doco film series across three shoot days — from the Strand on the Green to the equipment install day at The Draper, through to hard launch. The creative direction fused Wes Anderson-inspired static framing with handheld, observational energy: fast hooks, authentic founder-led VO, and a narrative arc that moved from arrival to belonging. Every asset engineered for the 3-second hook and the 20-second hold.

The core narrative thread running across all four films — establishing Dear Coco not as a coffee chain, but as a community-builder choosing to put down roots in Colindale.
Four films. One seamless arc.

Three shoot days across Strand on the Green, the coffee equipment install at The Draper, and hard launch day — building a b-roll content bank built to last well beyond opening week. Geo-fenced paid awareness running alongside to grow local followers in a tight half-mile radius around the venue.
