Solution
Splinter Unit Films put together a proposal for a series of A/W collection Look book films disguised as “Day in the Life Lifestyle” films. Based on insights in to RUM’s current community, this was decided to be the most effective approach to capture the RUM community.

FROM AMSTERDAM, WITH LOVE
From Amsterdam, With Love is a captivating fashion film showcasing the stunning clothing of RUM Amsterdam in a lifestyle setting. Designed to highlight the brand's pieces in their natural element, the campaign follows the story of two friends embarking on a weekend outing. Through beautifully composed scenes and authentic moments, the film captures the essence of the clothing "out in the wild," blending style, spontaneity, and the spirit of friendship.
CHAPTER TWO
BEAUTY ADORNS THE PERSON
Beauty Adorns the Person is a quick, attention-grabbing viral film designed to showcase the stylish pieces of RUM Amsterdam in the vibrant hustle and bustle of the city. The film captures two friends on a lively day out, flower shopping for their flat, all while effortlessly styling RUM Amsterdam clothing. With fast-paced shots and an energetic vibe, the clip blends fashion with everyday moments, highlighting the brand’s versatile designs in a real-life, urban setting. It’s a celebration of both the clothing and the dynamic energy of Amsterdam.
CHAPTER THREE
GOOD KNOWS NO TIME
Good Knows No Time brings the evening to life with a fun and energetic social-first film, showcasing RUM Amsterdam’s evening outfits in a lively, unforgettable way. The film follows two friends enjoying a pre-night out dinner, sipping wine, and celebrating the simple joys of the evening. As the night unfolds, the outfits come to life through playful moments of dancing, laughter, and the warm, glowing light of dusk. The film captures the essence of these pieces in their intended environment—radiating confidence and elegance while blending seamlessly into the carefree spirit of a night out.

Splinter Unit Films flew a core team out to Amsterdam, and utilised in-house RUM stylist and creative director, Courtney Mardon. As well as using runners based in Amsterdam to help run the production. We also used local models from MOXIE Agency to model the outfits throughout the films.
